The department consists of 1 senior consultant in psychiatry, 5 consultants in psychiatry 6 Junior Consultants in Psychiatry, 3 Assistant surgeons and 4 Casualty medical officers.
The department consists of four clinical psychologists. Diagnostic and treatment services include psychological assessments, counselling sessions, psychotherapy and other psychological interventions.
There are 2 posts of Psychiatric Social Worker . Social Work interventions by the department ranges from social history taking during admission of the patients to the familial and community based reintegration of the patients after discharge .
Consists of Nursing superintendents, head nurses and staff nurses for each ward. They supervise nursing assistants, grade I & II Staff. Also ensures 24 Hours Nursing care & supervision of all inpatients.
We provide 24 x 7 admission and emergency services for psychiatric patients. Admissions are as per the Mental Health Care Act, 2017
The Administrative department is headed by the Superintendent and consists of Deputy Superintendent, Resident Medical Officer, Lay Secretary and Treasurer, Head Clerk and other ministerial staff.
STORE is headed by Store Superintendent and Pharmacist storekeeper
This includes a) Dietary services for inmates as per the special dietary requirements for the psychiatric patients under the supervision of a qualified dietitian. b) Laundry services for all inmates c) Vocational Rehabilitation unit
The department is headed by a senior Laboratory Techncian Mr Sivadasan N. and has 2 Lab technicians Ms. Supriya K and and Ms.Akhiia.The laboratory Dept. of the Mental Health centre augments the hospital by catering the essential laboratory test, by adherance to strict quality standards.
