DNB in Psychiatry was started at GMHC in 2018. National Board of Examinations has sanctioned 2 Post MBBS and 2 Post Diploma seats in Psychiatry. Dr K.C. Remasan, Superintendent is the chairman of the DNB course. Dr.Aravindakshan K.C, Sr. Consultant is the Course Director and Dr Rajin T.K, consultant is the course Co-ordinator. Research Committee and DNB Grievance Redressal Committee also functions in the hospital. Currently 4 seats are available ( 2 post MBBS and 2 post Diploma ). The students shall enter into a service bond of Rs, 50,00000. The candidate will have to refund service bond amount and the stipend paid, in case of discontinuing the course after the completion of the admission process. The candidates need to serve the one year compulsory service only if requested by the Government.
